Custom Large-Scale Commercial & Industrial Energy Storage

For commercial and industrial sites requiring energy storage beyond standard packaged systems, BESS Australia offers custom Fox ESS POWER BEAST C&I solutions designed around the project's energy requirements.

The modular POWER BEAST platform combines H3 Plus hybrid inverters with CQ7 high-voltage storage and can incorporate solar PV, battery storage, backup, generator and EV charging.

Multiple POWER BEAST systems can scale to approximately 3.125MW / 7.35MWh for on-grid applications and 1.25MW / 2.94MWh for off-grid applications.

Suitable for: factories, shopping centres, distribution centres, large hotels and resorts, agricultural facilities, cold storage, manufacturing plants and major commercial and industrial energy users.

Typical Hardware Configuration

A custom POWER BEAST project may include:

• Fox ESS H3 Plus 50–125kW three-phase hybrid inverter(s)

• Fox ESS CQ7-M 6.96kWh Master battery module(s)

• Fox ESS CQ7-S 6.96kWh Slave battery modules

• Up to 14 CQ7 modules per battery stack

• CQ7 Dual Tower Base(s), where applicable

• Required battery connection and communication equipment

• Commercial metering/CT equipment

• Monitoring and communications equipment

• Project-specific electrical balance-of-system equipment

Final quantities are determined by system design.

Solar PV Combination

Custom designed

PV capacity should be engineered around the site's:

electricity consumption • interval data • daytime demand • peak demand • available roof/ground area • existing PV • network/export limitations • battery utilisation • backup requirements • future electrification and EV charging.

Government Incentive Potential

NSW Business Battery Incentive: Potentially available for eligible grid-connected systems between 20kWh and 30MWh*
Federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program: Generally not applicable to the large systems targeted by this package
Solar incentives: Assessed according to the final PV design and applicable scheme*

Importantly, off-grid NSW projects are not eligible for the NSW Batteries for Businesses incentive, even though POWER BEAST itself can be configured for off-grid applications.
